The tunnel. by happypat

The tunnel.

More blackberries this afternoon. another full pot & more to pick still.
A lovely warm afternoon...the summer is back!!

Since I went down the field yesterday the gate had been closed & I couldn't get it open so had to crawl through the maize rows to get to the blackberry hedge.

Three good things:
1, I talked to Max in NZ this morning & he told me he had put some Smarties in my room...seeing it will be February before I go I doubt they will still be there!
2. The new electric blanket in place, of course that is why the warm weather is back!!!
3. Out tonight with friends for a meal so no cooking!
Oh yummy wonderfulness!

Oh are those "wild" sweet corn? I would fancy me some of those as a starter before the blackberry ice cream...

I love the determination to get to the * forbidden fruit *--- where there is a will ,there is a way !! Love the capture of the tunnel through the field of corn & Tui inspecting the berries !! My mouth is watering in the thought of all those blacberries !

@fueast Well it's sort of wild in that it isn't for human consumption only cattle but it is a properly sown crop,,,there are about 75 acres of the stuff round our house...like a warren!!

Bless Tui in the jungle! I'm looking forward to a report on what happens when the embrocation starts being warmed up by the blanket - could be a good cold cure as well!
