Three good things:
1. Talked to both sons this morning ringing for Mothers Day.
2. Gathering a beautiful bunch of wild flowers for the dining table when my Canadian B&Bs arrive later.
3. Plenty of fresh eggs in the bowl for breakfasts.
I will take time to catch up with my commenting this evening...thank you for keeping up with me over the weekend!
Such a lovely peaceful shot. Interesting to see everything in the background as well. Is that a Box Brownie in the corner? Love the Beatrix Potter bowls! Our's disappeared many years ago unfortunately!
@sarah19@kwiksilver thank you both .....you are very observant ...I am impressed!
This is Cathys house Sallie......a box camera in the corner & Beatrice Potter in the china cabinet .....that & all the stuff in it used to belong to my mum & she left it to Cathy when she died.
Nice to see a good picture of Lydia! Bangles and bracelets - I love them - they will last for a lifetime. I also admired the china cabinet and in particular, the middle shelf!
Love everything about this shot! The subdued lighting, her pensive expression, and the generally warm and welcoming surroundings.

It all looks very glamorous, especially that chair. Lydia looks as if she is preserving the moment she put in on her wrist in her memory. Happy Birthday to her. :) Btw - I like the photos in the background and the knick knacks in the the cabinet. Now I'm wondering what the "8" means, mainly because I'm nosey!
@sabresun just had a closer look & it's my mums 80th birthday candle.......never noticed that for ages. This china cabinet is in my daughters sitting room, my mum left it to her.......a very beautiful piece made of walnut.
