Persil white. by happypat

Persil white.

Nothing to show for photos today.
I have ironed 18 sheets & 18 pillow cases with one arm this afternoon ....all change after a busy weekend.
Glorious weather here again.....raining in the south so we are the lucky ones!
Thank you for continuing to comment on my photos......love reading them all....as good as the photos for me!

Three good things:
1. Some worrying B&B's have gone with a little push from me! Not my usual lovely visitors & although they did nothing wrong I had a feeling!
2. Watching Andy Murray while I was ironing.
3. I ordered my photos for the show on Asda printing online......so easy & they are ready to pick up. Must be better than printing yourself & using all that ink!
Great to get washing out and dry! And all that ironing......I'm watching Andy too!

I love washing line photos and this is a great one with the plain white sheets and bright blue sky. Hope your shoulder is improving.

I bet that smelt so lovely when you ironed it. I love the smell of fresh laundry off the line

I love this because it lets me dream of being on a sailing ship

You iron your sheets!! Wow, I'm impressed! I bet they smell lovely!

I'm also impressed that you iron sheets - but I probably would if I ran a B&B! Love your photo - whiter than white on the line, bright blue sky, shadows and a great pov - fav! It's been fine here in Hampshire today too.

@kwind they are cotton Kim so have to be ironed......B&B too so have to be extra fussy! I have one of those ironing presses.

White sheets and blue sky.. lovely.. I'm with you on the ironing the sheets, with a little lavender spray as well... nothing better than climbing into bed with crispy sweet smelling sheets.... bliss

Super white against blue .... I love to see whites handing out in the bright sunshine to dry! Very homely and reassuring!

So lovely Pat seeing gloriously white sheets against a blue sky --puts us back a bit with your title .

@beryl I did wonder if anyone would know what I meant Beryl!

Ha ha !! I nearly mentioned the "blue bag" in my comment !!

You can't beat freshly washed and ironed sheets, although that must be quite an arduous task!

An iron press will help. Hope your shoulder is better. Andy Murray, yay!

How can you do that - with one arm - I reckon you must must have had a peggerrr! (I had to do all the "r's as auto correct would NOT allow me to write what I wanted! I love seeing washing dry in a breezy morning!

Lovely contrast between the sheets and the sky :)
Glad you encouraged your B&B'ers to move on!!

I think it's definitely more cost effective getting photos printed and they are much better quality. Well done with the ironing - after yesterday's blitz we have another two basket loads! Good move with the B&Bers - don't want dodgy ones in your house.

Someone's Mum would know what's white! Nice fun capture.

Nothing more satisfying than getting a washing dry on the line.

Definitely persil White, they are almost gleaming. Lovely capture against that blue sky. Nothing like wonderful cotton ironed sheets on your bed. None here these days though!

What a great shot. Looks beautiful against the blue sky. Just love washing blowing in the breeze. Wound't fancy the ironing though. the downside of a b&b I suppose.

Love the bright white against the blue sky ... what a way to record your labours!
Take it easy - otherwise your other arm will be in a sling as well!

No need for you to take the "Daz doorstep challenge". Danny Baker won't be knocking on your doorstep pat:-)

@jewelsandbinoculars Any excuse to watch Homes under the hammer - sometimes I have to put washing in specially...

Not such a common sight any more. I hear that there are some new housing developments where you are not permitted an outside clothesline - preposterous!!!
