Sitting on the prom at Clevelys with @sparkle last night ...a calm balmy evening ....the best time of the day.
The water lapping at our feet & the sun sinking in the west, a few young boys fooling about in the water, just a perfect summer evening.
The ferry leaving Heysham for the Isle of Man & the hazy mountains of the Lake District & I liked the lone figure walking on the breakwater.
Must add I am slacking commenting today.....I think the heat has finally got to me.......have been tired & lazy today...an early night is promised! Think things have just caught up with me a little ....will be fine tomorrow.
Three good things:
1. Amazing 365 friends......card from Andrea, a mysterious parcel & card from @busylady which I am keeping for Saturday & lovely Juliettes company last night...I am blessed!
2. An afternoon nap.
3. Shady trees.
Fabulous - looks like the perfect place to be in this heat. I love reading your 'Three good things' it reminds me to concentrate on all the good things to be grateful for. Because of you, I've even started thinking about three good things as soon as I wake up.
This hot weather is getting to us and draining us all , Pat -- I had a long nap this afternoon !! Do take it easy -- remember it's only early days after your op and yes , shady trees are a bonus on days like this !!
Looking at Maps Google, I can see where this picture fits. It must be nice place to visit and not far from your place. The lack of wind on this west coast must be rather pleasant and creates this lovely calm water!
@maggiemae it takes about fifteen minutes to drive to here maggiemae.....just near enough to the sea for me....lovely when it's like this but I hate it when it's rough. We are up on a hill so way out of reach hopefully of floods!!
@jocasta glad I have inspired you Jocasta .....amazing when you think how lucky we are.......some more lucky than others but all have some little thing. Originally someone called Martha's idea...she doesn't seem to post now...I often wonder how she is doing.
Love this - oh to be beside the sea. Say hello to @sparkle - miss her! It will take a bit longer to get over the op I expect and everybody is tired at the moment. Too hot for sleep!
Beautiful. I love the lone person in the distance, it really shows the vastness of the space around them. Nothing better than sitting by the ocean in the evening sun.
Thank you all.....it was lovely & cool on the waters edge.....
