Harry is a great help hanging the washing out after a busy weekend with B&B.
This is the first load of five he hung out this morning while I was re making beds.
I picked this one because as you can see he still has his wellies on......he did actually put his walking boots on later in the morning but mostly lives in his Wellington boots.
Two more visitors staying tonight so all must be ship shape again
Not a very interesting or special photograph technically but it's today's picture.
Three good things:
1. A good nights sleep...
2. Time to read the papers in the sun this afternoon.
3. I can't think of another specific thing but all is well in our world today.
@debbie3108@busylady thank you both...it is certainly a lovely day here although slightly chilly when the sun goes behind a cloud. Seems ages since you were here Judith. I have maggiemae coming this week.....can't wait to meet her!
Thats a big sheet and Harry knows how to peg it up! Our boys used to tend to throw it over the line and you end up with wire marks! Glad you had a good sleep! And yes, its only five days away!
Wellington Boots. My two year old would only wear wellington boots if he got his way in life all the time. Thought it was just a two year old thing. He does like his new shoes and will wear them as they have airplanes on which flash. So for the days at pre school when he cant wear his willies at least there are not tears. A good man is a good thing in life. Glad good sleep. Hoping tonight good again.
I put the sheets on the line today in the sunshine after a few damp days - nice to not be paying for the dryer (though the towels are lovely & fluffy). But 5 loads is a marathon!
@judithg I have to put the towels in the drier for ten minutes to get them fluffy again, they come in as stiff as boards when they dry in the sun on the line. Think of the money, that's my motto!
Good for Harry! I really like your shot. Maybe crop to just the left of the first pole on the right, and lose some of the road in front? Keeping your original size?
Well done Harry!! I'm glad I have a washing hanging husband too!!
I even had him cleaning the kitchen floor tonight as I didn't have the power using the mop......maybe I need to invest in one of the steam cleaner varieties.....sometimes it's just hands and knees!!
@sarah19 believe me Sallie one of those steam cleaning things might just finish you off! I blame one of those for wrecking my shoulder ........they are incredibly hard to push along unless you have the right floor, that's my experience anyway. I had to get right down so that I wasn't pushing downwards but horizontally along the floor & even then it wouldn't move so well. Also I found that it gave off a musty smell too which was very off putting. Would be interested how others manage them....I use an ordinary floor mop now...or rather usually Harry does!
