We all like a fellow photographer don't we.....checking out the camera, tripod, angle & perspective they are taking...all makes people watching so interesting!
This young man had a Press badge on so had plenty of scope & permission to shoot anything he liked!
Three good things:
1. A lie in this morning finishing reading my book Dancing Hens. Never enjoyed a book so much for ages...warm, funny & charming. As soon as I read the last page I ordered the sequel on my Kindle.
2. Ordering a home safe to put our important valuables & documents in. Our bank is closing in Garstang, which isn't a good thing...we are changing banks, no way having to go into Preston!
3. Warm enough to sit outside.
love you called him a young man!! It is interesting watching photographers at work. Where were you both? Books sound good as does a lie in with a book!! Not that I am complaining, we got a lie in this morning as littlest was hiding under his duvet patiently waiting to say boo when I went in to him!
@newbank You would love that book Ruth ...funny too ..in diary form a young mum with kids living in the country.
He was young , very young, about 24 I would think. We were watching Phil Vickery at the Agriculture Show. I hope you acted suitably frightened!!
@kwind Thanks Kim.....I had to crop drastically as there was a woman's face & chin right in the way...you can see a tiny weeny bit of her in the top right corner!
@cejaanderson do you Jane...if I had son this age it would be a miracle!! LOL ! He is younger than he looks perhaps here......think it's the wrinkled forehead ......
I knew I had seen him!!
I have just ordered the book on my kindle!
We have a safe it is so satisfying to know I can lock stuff up and it is safe, we installed it in a cupboard securely to the wall so it cannot be prised off prised doesn't look right I think it is right spelling
Cool! He looks like he knows what he's doing!
Love the way you get through books......I'm still reading the one Laura sent me at the beginning of my summer holidays!! About half way through I think.
@pinkpaintpot yes I would spell it like that too.......you will laugh at the book & it just gets funnier as you go on...I think as you get to know the characters
A great candid shot Pat and looks good in b/w -- so sharp and detailed ! And yes the all seem to look so young these days even some of the doctors look as if they have come out of school ! Sounds a good book Pat ,and yes the weather is beautiful --but the garden is so dry -- too dry to transplant anything !
@lucypics@judithg the book is about a young mum living in this big house with Aga...wayward husband whom she divorces & these three kids the youngest called The Beauty. I laughed out loud it's so delightful......gets better as you go on. Just started the sequel .......there are hens in it but the title comes from a joke one of the boys tells.
A picture of concentration - perhaps we all look like this! You wouldn't be this close with your camera so good shooting. I now remember the author of this book having read one of hers and I tried to find another. This was ages ago and Amazon and Good Reads weren't around!
@willowdragon does it bolt into the wall or is it heavy? Notvsurecwhat sort to get....must be fire proof of course but other than that not sure & they vary so much in price!
