Wheels & steps

Taken somewhere around Lower Manhattan but I can't remember where.....we walked all over the place but I think it was round Little Italy/ Chinatown & Soho.
Lovely colours of buildings & wonderful ornate brickwork on some of the buildings.

I have been out with my camera today but I have no incentive at all....everything looks very boring!

Three good things:
1. I walked to the village this morning to collect the bread from the bakery....around three miles.
2. The hedges are coming out.
3. I went to my mums & dads grave this afternoon to put Easter flowers there.
A very attractive street , bikes and all ! Been a nice day today . Ihave been tidying the conservatory -- a mini spring clean with Gary's help and have had the doors wide open to freshen up the place ! Makes you feel good to do a little bit like this although the shoulder is killing me now !!

Love this shot Pat. Everything only looks boring because you had stunning picture overload in NY. Your photo mojo will be back! Alternatively you could pop over to NY for more pictures:-)

Your New York shots are just wonderful. I'm ready to hop on a plane and go!
Love your three good things.

I like the symmetry in your shot. Was it 3 miles there AND 3 miles back to get the bread?!

I love the row of blue bikes and the lines on the building behind; great capture.

@quietpurplehaze No Hazel, three miles round trip! It didn't help that I had stubbed my toe when I got up in the night....it's all black & blue tonight & swollen.

Fabulous street scene, love the repetition of the bikes. Know what you mean about no incentive. You get photo'd out when you go away don't you and it takes you a while to get back into the swing of it again when you are home.
I have been busy writing up my family history which is taking up a lot of time and also it has poured with rain for the last 2 days (not used to this in Oz) so no chance to go out and take photos. Still showing my holiday photos while I am working on my writing.

Neat shot.. These 'hire' bikes have been on the new over here .. Christchurch is going to set up a scheme.. great for tourist to get around town and see the sites.. You will soon get your Phojo back once the weather improves .. then it will be us lacking inspiration..

Lovely capture with strong colours.
Seems to be the norm in large cities nowadays; not sure I'd want to risk the busy streets though and I think you'd miss out on some amazing buildings too....that's me being a little chicken to risk it too :)
