I popped into Blackpool today as my new iPhone was showing the wrong number when I rang out even though I was getting all my messages on my own number...anyway it is all sorted out now.
The lovely Waterstones book shop has re opened after the terrible accident in January when the shop sign fell off above the door killing the poor shop manageress as she locked up........such a shocking thing to happen.
Thank you all for continuing to comment on my photos even though I am very erratic at the moment.
Three good things:
1. Lady Farmers charity evening tonight so another meal out!
2. Our lovely son in laws birthday today.
3. The book about Knee replacements has arrived & it's very illuminating.......some kind friend on 365 recommended it, her name has just slipped my mind...thank you!
Just remembered it was @jocasta who recommended the book...thank you Jocasta, Harry is reassured that things are going to plan!
Whst s tragw accident. Looks like a treasure of a book shop. Auckland s biggest book shop just announced that it is closing its doors, not so good. Lovely shot.
The loveliest thing about a bookshop (or a library) is actually opening the book at a random spot and seeing if I want to continue reading. I feel like a kid in a candy store!!
I think we all love books - must be similar to photography somehow! Glad they are still surviving with all the books on kindles etc. Never heard of this terrible accident! I imagine a heap of other people will be examining their outside signs!
So glad to hear the shop has re-opened. I remember you saying about the accident when it happened.
I am unable to go past a book store and we have the best second hand book shop in the world at Cooks Hill in Newcastle. They won't let you out until you buy three books, Well that's my story anyway ha ha.
Fab photo.......what a luxury having bookshops quite close by!
And what a tragedy earlier in the year...........think I missed that!!
Good that Harry doing well!
Love bookshops, always have to go inside and 'browse'.

You've not been as erratic as me, thank you so much for your continued commenting.
