The wood we planted looked wonderful in the early morning light as I drove out to get the morning paper.
If you look closer you can see a dead fir tree in the centre. Brian is going to help Harry plant a holly bush that has outgrown its tub in its place.
Three good things:
1. Lunch out in Garstang!
2. Sitting out this afternoon in the warm sun.....at last!
3. Lesley & I love watching mindless TV every night at 7pm......Say Yes to the Dress........our time for an hour!

That looks so colourful in your morning! Not easy to mow though round the tree trunks but worth it. I presume that "Say yes to the Dress" is a TV program! It is nice to have someone to enjoy a program with you. John mostly just sits looking as his iPad.
This will be a wonderful stand of trees in years to come - so hard from down here to see see this as spring with all that glorious colour and cool lighting.
@maggiemae Brian has mowed round the trees tonight with the little mower, it gets in all the corners. Harry & I stopped off at the garage this afternoon & had a good look at the new Discovery Sport .....we liked it. Very like the Evoque shape.
