Bank Holiday at the garden centre. by happypat

Bank Holiday at the garden centre.

This little trainee disabled dog was getting maximum attention today at the garden centre.

Stocked up with bacon, hash browns, chicken breasts etc, plus lettuce & cabbage seeds, a lavender plant & a small string of solar lights to put over the trellis.
Emptied the freezer to see what we had in the depths below & generally had a sort out of supplies for the imminent visit of four extra.

Three good things:
1. I managed to scan & send a document to NZ.
2. Watching the three Queens sail up the River Mersey.
3. A lie in this morning!
A super candid capture. Must have been amazing to see the 3 "Queens"together. Saw them on the news this evening

@carolmw I only saw them on the TV too Carol......would love to have gone myself but didn't organise myself soon enough. Liverpool is a place I hardly know even living not too far away...would have been nervous to drive there & not know where to park.

I must read up on the three Queens - I've only heard something about the Red Arrows. That's a very cute tired pup.

Love this shot of the activity in the garden center. And that pup-in-training is too sweet for words!

A lovely candid shot Pat . -- In my ignorance I had to google the "three Queens "to find out what you were referring to !! I also popped to a local, family - run garden centre this afternoon and purchased some new plants and shrubs , compost , plant food etc ! And had Gary to take the compost to the back garden and the plants to the greenhouse for the night !!

Allsorts of goodies at the garden centre and not a plant in sight..sweet dog, these dogs are amazing, I know a young girl that has one to alert her when she is about to have an epileptic fit, so as to give her time to get to a safe place... lovely shot

These dogs are doing wonderful things for people. Saw a wonderful clip on of facebook of a golden retriever supporting a young carcrash victim . Incredible devotion to duty.

Your inside shots are always so bright - wouldn't be a flash - just the correct settings and a steady hand! I can never get plant seeds to take - buy the small plants already half grown.

A good BH candid at the garden centre. We cannot buy bacon or chicken at ours. Those little dogs are always lovely to see, make a fuss of, and sometimes photograph!
