looks a lovely playground and what a magnificent tree. I think you always need a little break when you have family staying, as much as you love seeing them. We are off to France for a week or so and I think that will give our family a bit of a break. Particularly as our son and daughter in law have given up their bed to us while we stay!
@judithg Ha ha Judith.......I actually climbed to the top of that rope bit on the right! I have a photo of me on the ride along the rope at the wild boar place & a photo to,prove it! Forgotten what it's called but you sit on a pole & launch yourself along to the end of the run.
@cruiser Well that is very generous of them.......I think it's good to go off, we do the same when visiting both our sons in NZ. Gives everyone a break.
This blue netting appears to be just decoration? Its not for catching active youngsters falling out of trees? Playgrounds have to be so safe nowadays! No reckless behaviour!
@maggiemae No the blue netting is a walk way through the trees......a real adventure playground! Further on there is a walk way for much older groups with pulleys & climbing walls etc. we never had anything like this did we maggiemae?
I love the colors in this shot, Pat. And such a fabulous place for children to run off some energy. Enjoy a bit of quiet and relaxation this weekend...the fun will commence again before you know it. ☺
