Now everyone has been & gone I have a whole new set of messages on my blackboard. I will try & leave them on until they all come back at various times again. Taking up a bit more space this time!
Had my hair trimmed & car washed today & eyebrows done tomorrow so I am emerging from a bit of neglect....too busy to be bothered with such things!
The holiday makers are in New Zealand but it took them twenty seven hours actually on the plane that's without the hours waiting in three airports en route......they all coped very well & when Jo rang as they were driving home the boys were asleep in the car.
I was going to post a picture of a rather nice looking Lloyds Bank but decided on this one instead......the bank another time!
Three good things:
1. I finished the mushroom soup Jo made on the day they travelled home......only someone who lived in NZ could be bothered to be making soup then ! It was delicious.
2. Lydia & Beth caught the shuttle bus into Auckland safely.
3. A new bottle of gin in the fridge!
Is gin nicer in the fridge? I might try that - have to see if there is any left in the bottle! So nice that they took the time to do those messages and for the boys to sign there names! They would have had to climb on a chair to do this! i watched the flight travel to Sydney then it got lost. They must have changed planes!
@maggiemae Yes I kept losing it too for some reason. They stopped in Sydney for an hour but got back on the same plane arrived in Auckland 5.15pm Thursday your time. Gin has to be in the fridge, the tonic too...just try it!
I love this, Pat! I would have to make those sweet messages a permanent part of the blackboard. Sounds like you've been busy with things that were overlooked while you had better things to do. And I love your three good things.
I love this, what a great idea to have a blackboard in your b&b. and now Max and Finn will be on the board for ever more now you have photographed it. I would print a copy of this and pin it next to the board so it is there always.
The blackboard is a lovely idea - such a lovely message from the boys too :)
