Pier head at the Albert Dock in Liverpool.
Couldn't have been a nicer day to visit, the sun was shining & the river & docks were very busy.
No need to comment today on this photo. It's just a diary shot to keep me up to date. Last night was so hard to comment on 365. Our electricity was not on full power & I couldn't get my iPad charged up. Everything didn't come back to normal until 9pm.
We are out to the Cartford tonight for a fiftieth birthday bash so no commenting again.
Thank you so much for all your lovely faves for the legs picture.
Three good things:
1. I had a little sleep this afternoon & was confused with the time when I woke....so relieved to find I hadn't overslept for breakfasts!
2. Lunch out in the garden.
3. I can't keep my nose out of the book I am reading, just the best writer & storyteller I have read. Four Fires by Bryce Courtney........not a very inviting title but I am loving it. 800 Pages long!!
Very wide river at this point! Looks muddy but busy with this little tug ready to haul somebody up the river or down! Bryce Courtney is becoming a more popular author now. I've got some of his in our bookcases.
The Mersey doesn't change does it. Lovely shot.
I really love Bryce Courtney books. Have your read April Fools Day? Very sad story and a tribute to his son Damon who was a haemophiliac who contracted Aids through an infected blood transfusion.
@onewing No I haven't Babs, I am in the happy position of not having read all his books yet ...pleasures to come! I read The Power of One & Tandia before Four Fires.
So nice to eat outdoors. ...too rare recently!
