My friend Jack by happypat

My friend Jack

We have been really busy today changing beds ready for the next ones in tonight so no new photo today.
I was just trying to decide which filler photo to use & this one caught my eye.
I,love this photo taken in the summer when the boys were over from NZ. Finn took quite a shine to Jack & vice versa....here they are having a walk along a track on Beacon Fell.

Three good things:
1. We had a bed for each person last night!
2. I great suggestion from a guest.
3. Roast lamb in the oven.

Oh happy memories , a lovely picture Pat

@motherjane Well we are thinking of downsizing in a couple of years & he suggested we sold the house as an up & running B&B which we had never even thought about! I would just have run it down before we sold.....sometimes it takes another outside person to think of these things!

@dide @jennywren @gerry Thank you Dianne, Jen & Gerry for your lovely comments. Yes that is one of Finns many soft toys, one of his favourite but I can't remember which one....can't remember which kind of animal,it was. That's the trouble with them being so far away you forget important details like that!

What a lovely photo. Could easily be taken in our forest up the road. Sometimes searching for a filler takes more time than going out taking a photo.

Lovely tall trees to walk under and remember. Uncle Jack will also be remembered. Uncles get on so well with nephews for some reason!
