Prosecco for tea! by happypat

Prosecco for tea!

The young staff at the place we went for a light snack were working so hard today. Backwards & forwards with orders of main meals or just tea cakes & coffee.
Plenty of tiered cake stands full of afternoon teas with prosecco.......how we all love to eat out.

Out for a meal at the Cartford Inn tonight & then back to sit by the fire & watch Strictly Come Dancing which of course is just eight miles away from us in The Tower Ballroom in Blackpool.
Harry & I have danced in there a few times in our youth!

Three good things:
1. A telephone call at 11pm last night & a little voice saying ' granny, guess what, something exciting has just happened! " I said ' what Max? ' " my front tooth has just fallen out! ". Three cheers for modern communication for us grandparents twelve & a half thousand miles from their grandchildren!
2. A walk with a dog, something we haven't done for a while.
3. A much colder winter day which is good, I was sick of the warm wet stuff!
Love this shot @happypat, especially the girl laughing on the left, its so good to laugh.

Looks good in b&w. We're out today to the theatre in Newcastle and out for a Thai meal tonight with friends.

I phoned my sister last night and she said it is freezing in the UK.

Love this candid shot of that hard working staffer. She must go home rather exhausted at the end of her shift.
How adorable of Max to call you to share his exciting news! I loved the precious photo of his darling gap spaced smile on fB. ☺

How wonderful for Max to be able to call you. Hope you enjoyed Strictly. I'm an addict but so difficult to pick a winner this year I change my mind from week to week. Wonder who will go tonight. Love this candid picture and glad you didn't crop the happy lady.
