I think I am on the mend today & thank you to all of you who sent good wishes.
I was very lazy this morning & stayed in bed until 11.30am. A cup,of tea some porridge, my iPad & the electric blanket, what more could an under the weather person wish for?
This afternoon I have spent by the fire watching The 100 Foot Journey.
Three good things:
1. Lucky I felt worse at the weekend when a I had no B&B in.
2. An added bonus of number 2 son ringing from NZ.
3. Aldi Thick & Creamy yoghurts.
A cosy rest in bed and in front of the fire -- the two best things to do to when under the weather and to aid recovery Pat - Pleased to hear you are feeling a little better -- just take it easy . Yes the Aldi Thick and Creamy Yoghurts are rather good aren't they !! In fact I love their Greek style yoghurt as well
I would never get up!! Glad you're feeling better - a bet of time in bed can be a good investment. I see Aldi is getting it's talons in you - must be faster service than ours - puts me off every time!
@judithg Oh that's the beauty of it Juduth they are amazingly fast! they can whip the food through at great speed! I am still a Booths lover but there are different things in Aldi.. Booths doesn't seem any quieter thank goodness. I do think Aldi brings people into town.
@happypat People come a long way to ours - I'd rather see people with Aldi bags than Iceland any day - you see mothers and kids walking past our house with carriers absolutely full of frozen ready meals.
I'm like @teiko Emily! Don't need to be sick to stay in bed - where I do all my catching up on 365 in the morning. Interesting reading about the ready meals that people buy. The only ready meal I see here to buy is in the supermarket and they cost NZ$7.50.
@maggiemae It's a great place to do commenting I agree, I do all mine in the evening. If I do manage to comment on any during the day I am very happy as I sometimes miss the shots that come in just after I go to bed for instance @gijsje sometimes gets left. I have now started commenting when people comment on mine I then go to their shot. Ready meals are usually expensive to eat everyday so £1 is cheap, cheap ...wouldn't catch me eating anything as cheap as that...makes you wonder what on earth is in it!
That reminds me of a post on FB tiday about a girl had been to an Indian restaurant in Kirkham near us, got something stuck in her tooth that she couldn't remove. She went to her dentist who asked her if she had eaten out lately. He sai call the police as the thing in her tooth was part of an identification chip out of a dog!! That restaurant is finished!
Nice shot, glad to hear to are feeling better. In bed till 11 good for you...wish I could but yesterday sitting in bed on the iPad yep 365 -- and glanced at the clock wow 10:15...say no more I jumped out of bed! If the girls pop in to say bye in the morning I sometimes reply especially on cold morning Oh its so lovely here I'm having a duvet day....BUt they both KNOW me too well!!
glad you are starting to feel better Pat. love the look of your cosy room with winter well and truly outside. We are waiting for Aldi to open their stores here in Adelaide very soon. They have some great specials.
@happypat Good gracious and frog's legs ankles as I used to say a long time ago before swearing became popular! I try to make a point to comment on those who comment on mine but I do have some favourites like yourself and @judithg !
@cruiser my niece works for Aldi based in Brisbane. They emigrated almost a couple of years ago. They work them hard in Aldi...terrific long days she has.

Lovely view from your bed! :)
