The last Lancaster photo.
One of the main streets in Lancaster leading towards the railway station & the Castle.
You couldn't miss the lady in red she was rather large but very smartly dressed.
Thank you all so much for your appreciation for my Lancaster shots, I am so glad you like them!
Three good things:
1. Watching the indoor bowls championship with one eye & reading the papers with the other.
2. Google on my iPad so I can google why they spray the bowls sometimes......answer because they've touched the Jack.
3. A very lazy day.
A lovely street scene , great pov and leading lines to the spire in the far end of the street ! Lovely mellow stone walls to the buildings and of course -- the lady in red , you could not miss her ! Love the cleanliness of the paved street , our streets in Wellington are also paved - it does make then look cleaner and more attractive !
Lovely capture but I hated those surfaces when I wore high heels, some years ago I must say. The lady in Red (Song by Chris De Burgh), can't be that large as she would have a sign on her back that says "Wide Load".
This lady would probably have taken some time to get out of the photo so she was lucky you didn't mind! I expect its Harry that likes to watch the bowls? Funny phrase - 'one eye on...'!
@maggiemae We both like watching bowls but it's indoor bowls so very different to Crown green which is what we play here. ....one eye going this way, one eye the other...it is a funny phrase when you say it literally!
