We went to the food hall in Barton Grange this morning to get stocks in for B&B, bacon, hash browns, tomatoes etc.
A coffee & a bowl of soup in the restaurant followed but we weren't impressed with the food. A stale dry scone & the soup was too salty. Next time we'll try Light Ash Cafe.
This display of children's food is wonderful though & I was impressed with all the mums choosing to healthy fruit & savoury options for their young children!
Three good things:
1. A get well card from Lydia.
2. Funny how you notice all the wheelchairs around when you're sitting in one yourself......I will look differently in the future & count my blessings!
3. My watertight leg sleeve arrived this morning, I can have a shower or bath!
Lovely display. You do see the world differently from a wheelchair don't you and people see you differently too. People in shops talk to you differently too. Occasionally people would treat me so oddly, I wasn't sure if they thought I was deaf or stupid. ha ha.
