We have been out in Garstang shopping for most of the afternoon. When we got back we hardly had time to get out of the car before three ducks, Ginger & Lily were all round us demanding to be fed!
Just read that @andreajoy has joined me in plaster, not a good club to be in!!
All of you take great care there seems to be a rash of broken bones injuries around!!
Three good things:
1. We met lots of young farmers either walking, cycling or pushing something from various parts of the UK all for charity. The annual Young Farmers rally in Blackpool this week. It will be a hard days night!!
2. My broken ankle has opened a strange new world. Lost count how many people, mostly men, stopped for a chat asking what I had done & how their wives were in the same boat.
There is an army of husbands flogging away doing housework & general nursing duties we had no idea about!
3. Aldi gin! Normally I buy my bottle of gin with the general food shopping so it was the first time Harry had seen the price of a bottle, he was shocked!
We went a purchased a bottle from Aldi & he was happier! Not quite in the same class Bombay Sapphire but it's fine!
I do like the homely posts you do - it easy to visualise and brings a smile! Poor Andrea ( @andreajoy ) - don't know how she manages to fall of her bike! ps....I'm being VERY careful!
@maggiemae it is actually my dismount we now realise. As I have neuropathy in my feet and weak legs, that is the root cause. Can't even use crutches as no strength to hop!!
@andreajoy Perhaps mention that you can't use crutches when you go for your re plaster. They might not plaster up your leg quite as high so you can crawl easier.....just a thought. Quite difficult bending a leg if the plaster is higher up.
