It's almost time to clear all the clutter off my dresser.
I need to move everything off, wash all the China, put it all back & then chuck out as much as I can.
Inevitably most stuff goes back on again!
Thank you all for putting little Finn on PP yesterday, it's a while since I've been on there!
Three good things:
1. Sky news.
2. Wimbledon.
3. Hamlets steak pies.
Are any of that blue striped pottery T D Green makers mark. Don't chuck any of that out as it's worth some pennies. My antique interest buds are wanting to have a look.
@ladymagpie Yes all the blue & white stripes are TG Green Heather. I collect them & some of those on the bottom shelf are quite old with the originial mark. There is another lower shelf which I couldn't fit in the picture. When I said chuck stuff away I really meant the cards, invitations etc.
@judithdeacon No nothing I want to part with either Judith that's the trouble! All the China will go back on but will tidy up the additional odds & ends.
@jmj It's a massive dresser Jennifer & another shelf along the bottom. When we bought the house it wasn't there but we had only just moved in when the next door neighbour asked us if we wanted to buy it as it originally came out of my kitchen & she had bought it from the original owners of our house. I was delighted & I think it was glad to come home.
Pat ,it is a lovely dresser and I love all your blue and white china . My Mum had a large dark oak Welsh Dresser full of old blue and white china , but I did not have room for it in my house I still have regrets in not keeping one or two pieces !!
Sorry for this mass reply & hope I haven't missed a name off, so hard to scroll down & get every bodies name!
You are so kind about my cluttered dresser but I'm glad you like it. I love it & it's a big part of my kitchen. I f we ever move I hope I will have a big enough place to still fit it into our lives. I know that I will put everything back & the children's drawings will go in a place where I keep them all, they will make way for the new ones to come! X
Such a lovely lovely display but I know how much dust can collect around things after the last few weeks trying to get our house child friendly again!!
Kitty has a similar dresser filled up with Fosters pottery. :)
