A completely different day than yesterday with blue skies & sunshine!
The hens were keeping close to the shade in the lower branches of the tree.
We have two new hens Harry bought on Wednesday & they seem to be settling in well. Six altogether now, two of the older ones died off.
I'm struggling loading up my photos on my iPad at the moment. The connecting lead doesn't seem to be working when I plug it in to the camera & iPad. It means I have to use my SD card into the main computer to upload. It's been a bit temperamental for a while now which is very frustrating as its a much bigger job posting my 365 photos, almost enough to make me give up!!
It's so easy editing on Snapsead too, it means I have to use Lightroom which is too messy for me.
Three good things:
1. Promotion codes.
2. Sunshine through the kitchen window & door this evening.
3. One & a half hours of Masterchef final tonight & some chocolate to eat with it!
A new lead perhaps? Don't give up! Lovely shot of the hens here & it's nice to see some sun. It's been a really dreary day here all day. Can't wait for the final either!
@jesperani Hope you have some chocolate to eat with it Jennifer! Makes you hungry all that food! Might have to buy a new lead, I will see what my grandson says. I won't be able to post any photos from Ireland when I go on the 8th.
Hope the new hens will settle in with the rest of the brood -- and just think -- more lovely chooky eggs all nice and fresh from your own hens ! Talking of I Pads I have mislaid mine !! I have not seen it since we went on hols !
Lovely shot, I am singing along with the song again too. Sorry to hear your iPad is giving you grief. I have to admit I am not a fan of iPads. I prefer my desktop at home and laptop when we are away. I find iPads too limiting.
I think I've just finished watching your last year's Masterchef :) Hope you manage to get your iPad working OK again - I think we'd all miss you if you weren't here.
Somebody should tell these hens how lucky they are to work for their food in such beautiful surroundings! Lots of worms down there! I use my SD card all the time as its quick and reliable. The cord that came with the camera failed pretty early on!
Masterchef final was great. I really enjoyed it. The hens look very happy and settled in their new home Pat. Hope you get your computer sorted quickly.
@maggiemae Interesting I will perhaps have to go out & buy a new lead although its working in that it connects but says 'wait a moment' & then doesn't do anything else! @andreajoy . I hate using the main computer in the office as I have to wait until it fires up & then I can't edit the same or as quickly. Will have to look into it! The hens are in paradise Maggie!
@onewing I like the iPad because it's simple & quick & I can sit in my favourite chair while I upload, the computer is tucked away in the office & very anti social!
Such a nice farm scene. Love having chickens roaming the yard - we don't and really miss them!
Sounds like you may need to spend some money to fix your problem ... electronics are such a pain and have such a short shelf life. I may need to invest in a new camera - which is really starting to act up at the moment. But then, it is 8 years old now.
