Lots of great entries & the cream of British Farming in every section.
Three good things:
1. Weather was the best they had had for years, thousands there enjoying the sun & livestock.
2. A demo by the butcher in Garstang, he showed us how they cut up & prepaired a whole cow hind quarter. He prepares many cuts in a way that the public can come in & chose something that's pretty much ready for cooking, that's the way they like it these days.
3. We bought some steak, enough for two meals for £6 after the demo.
Off down the road for a fund raising race night so haphazard with commenting I'm afraid!
I just love cows. Our annual show is on in September and I hope to go and take some interesting photos. Think I will probably have to go on my own so I can take as long as I like
