A long journey home yesterday setting off at 8am. A stop at the Back Obama services in Moneygall (apparently he has ancestors in the area & has visited at one time, they have made the most of it as you would!) & then onto the 3.10pm ferry to Holyhead.
Got home about 10.30pm so I'm having an easy day today.
Such a great holiday with trips out & lots of entertainment in the evening.
The Fureys, Declan Nerny, Mark Roberts, Mike Denver, Daniel O'Donnell, Nigel Connell & a few more too many to name!
Three good things:
1. It's nice to go traveling but it's oh so nice to come home!
2. I don't feel I have put much weight on after all when I look in my own mirror! To much eating good things so I shall get back to a normal diet now!
3. The house was sparkling clean when I got home....Harry is so tidy that I only mess it up when I come back!
A great shot for B&W. So pleased you had a great trip it all sounds like fun.. and so nice to come home to a tidy house.. I'm having a few days away over the weekend so hope I'm as lucky.
I'm sure you have lots of good photos other than the eating ones! Thats the good thing about having a good camera. Harry is really very resourceful - don't know that John would be as good!
@maggiemae Yes Harry is great in the house but it's in his nature to be very tidy! I haven't as many lovely photos of Ireland as I would have liked Maggie. We were either in a coach so bad refections or in towns so never seemed to get any pretty country scenes even though there were some beautiful mountains called reeks around Killarney.
Super choice of B&W with this really nice PoV shot. Love how the line of cars disappears into the bright sunshine at the end of the ferry.
Love your 3 - I am so jealous! LOL!
great atmospheric shot and looks good in black and white. Sounds like it was a lovely holiday and how nice to find everything tidy for you when you got home.
Yes thank you all a brilliant time & I will catch up with your photos soon!
