Popped into our local garden centre farm shop for bacon & hashbrowns.
As usual Christmas has arrived too early!
Three good things:
1. Even though our telephone has no dialling tone it's still working!
2. Lily brushed & her ears done, she isn't a bit appreciative either!
3. Falling leaves.
Ooh dear --however much I like the lights and glitter it completely misses the point and true meaning of Christmas by being months too early, and where are they going to fit in all their Halloween stuff !! It is just the enticement to spend spend spend !! I hope I do not sound too much like Scrooge -- /but really I do not care !After all that I must admit it looks very pretty !
Way to early!! This is why Chris and I always go to Germany to enjoy to Christmas markets the atmosphere is wonderful.... This year we are off to Berlin again.
@beryl I feel exactly as you do Beryl, I do like Christmas but this is way too early, beginning of November soon enough in my book! To be fair to then here they have such a massive display that it takes them ages to,put it up!
Crazy. Though I did see the Christmas shopping that comes to town every year arrived the other day. Too soon to think about it yet. But makes a pretty photo.
Commercialism, money making, takes over everything,Halloween is now so Big! ...Love Xmas but not all how it is now and kids today have soooo much..what happened to the apple and orange stocking and a few presents...which we were happy with..
Lovely green themed area on the left there! You do take good pictures of insides of buildings! Must try myself but don't have attractive areas like you do!
It's lovely to hear daily diary of events at home and of course you can't compare with the great wall
We feel so lucky to be able to do this trip, despite the altitude adjustments here in Tibet.
Oh No. Far too early for Christmas. I always feel a sense of desperation in shopkeepers thoughts when they have to start selling Christmas decorations in September.
It's a tad too early for me - there is an unwritten rule that they have to wait until after Halloween around here and I find even that is too early!
Great shot though! You will have to go back closer to Christmas, LOL!
