We've been to visit our friends & sharers of grandchildren this afternoon.
Our son in laws parents who we have known for over forty five years live in Inglewhite where we used to live.
Just below the tree line is the local primary school where all our children went to school.
The village hall is there too & the place we will be spending New Years Eve again this year.
This is the view as we drove out of their drive.
Taken in low light with the help of the car headlights.
Three good things:
1. My first trip in the new car.
2. Fish & chips on the way home.
3. I opened the After Eight mints!
A lovely scene --I love the glow of the headlights leading your way ! -- you have opened your After eights !! I was telling Gary that I have misplaced our After Eights !! -- perhaps just as well as long as I find then for Christmas !
@beryl Yes I couldn't resist Beryl, it's actually the second box I opened. We got a buy one get one free deal at Tesco a while ago. Harry has been & gone & opened the Christmas cake too!
The headlights pick up great colour but the distant evening green has contrasting effects. I wonder what 'after eights' are - mints of some sort - maybe they are covered in chocolate!
@gamelee Yes pretty dark up there Lee! Great views of Blackpool coastline in the distance from the top. Quite awesome when we come out of the village hall late at night & see the stars on a new year dawning!
