@julzmaioro Yes pretty much what I do Julz. Parboil then drain & shake to rough up the edges the roast in hot oven in preferably goose fat. Goose fat makes all the difference I find. Use then pour back in jar & use again until you run out!
Nice seeing that big cheery room with people you love! You have goose fat? I have been able to have potatoes done in duck fat now at some restaurants and they are not only delightfully crisp but very tasty too! I must get some except we are into new potatoes right now!
@maggiemae No need when you have lovely new potatoes maggie! I think duck fat will be pretty similar to goose fat! We buy goose fat in a jar here mostly at Christmas time.
