Well I'm not doing very well with the NZ photos I'm afraid!
We are in Ahope a very nice seaside town on the east coast of NZ.
Four days away on holiday but it's absoloutely chucking it down with rain.
I'm not complaining because NZ needs rain so badly. Forest fires in Christchurch & the Hawke's Bay Area
Max & I opted to stay in while the others went for some fresh air, get the lie of the land & to order pizzas.
Hopefully the weather will pick up & I can start taking some pretty photos!

I have had a glass of bubbly so think I am on the road to recovery too!
Ohope? ... Yes the rain is very welcome lets hope they get it were they really nead it.. Poor people of Christchurch have really had more than enough to deal with over the last few years.. It would be a lovely break even if the rain does still bucket down ...
@julzmaioro Yes julz the gpbreak is very nice, an are I don't know that well although I have been to Mount Monganui many times. Me & Harry once filled a spar bath when we were staying in Whakatane a few years ago. We didn't put enough water in & water sprayed all over the walls & ceiling.
Somehow I get the value of this shot and with your words, it is part of what is around you! I guess you are missing Harry too! They have chosen an nice motel or what to stay in and comfy seats to look out in - in the rain!

Well Pat the company looks good, the couch looks comfy and I see wine glasses on the bar, so all seems pretty fine! yes rain desperately needed for those terrible forest fires.
Max looks very studious with his I-pad and earphones !! Nice to be keeping one another company in from the rain ! Glad you are gradually feeling better - I have gone down again with virus and feeling all washed out , so is Gary this time ! Just phoned my friend not to come down tomorrow -- as I would not like to pass it on !!
