Amazing number of barber shops in Auckland. Brian took the opportunity to have his cut while he had time.
I must say they are a very social place in NZ. Lesley says she has a glass of wine if she wants in hers & Brian was offered coffee. He was in ages putting the world to rights.
You can buy beard oil plus lots of other mens cosmetic goodies.

So different to the usual utilitarian shops found here. As a matter of fact, those men who want the full treatment around my area go to ladies hairdressers.

@maggiemae $40 Maggie! I think he rather liked it! All that preening & they had a laugh because a talent scout came in while he was in looking for male models, took one of the young chaps photos but not Brian!

Great shot ... there does seem to a resurgance of 'real' barbers we even have two in our small town..
