Says it all really

Taupo or Tow-pour as I have recently learnt is the correct pronunciation.

Tow the boat & pour the wine!

Fits perfectly!

This sign was put up specially for the Ironman competition but there has been suggestions that it fits beautifully & should stay, I think I agree.

Three good things:
1. Back to a very tidy house & B&B money in the drawer!
2. I managed to last until 8pm last night before I went to bed.
3. Lovely to see family again.
I refuse to say Taupo that way - its always been Tau poh and why should we change! Like some say Oh Ah Maru for our town instead of Omaru! Good to hear you are home safely!

@maggiemae I have never heard anybody pronounce it that way but apparently they do on the weather forecast!

@julzmaioro No I am bad at Maori words, all the town names look the same! I get so muddled with the M ones!

It's already gone @happypat. I'm wondering if they are going to make it sturdier for the southerly winds. I hope it comes back.
