I went to Next & bought a photo frame for our latest Max & Finn photo.
Another essential item on my overloaded dresser!
Three good things:
1. The funny sayings of three year olds. We skyped this morning & Finn showed me his drawing of a rocket on its way to a new planet. I asked if the planet had water so we could live on it & he said ' yes of course Granny, it has a soak away'!
2. Out for a meal tonight but we have no idea where, a mystery meal!
3. Big fat sweet grapes.
A lovely photo of the two , and really deserved to be framed ! Enjoy your even meal ! we've just had a take away of fish and chips (the fish was beautiful tonight !! )
The dresser will never grow old with all the cards and photos that you receive. Sounds good , this mystery meal that someone is organising. Probably at it now!
@maggiemae we've just got back maggie, I have had two glasses of wine! Mealwas delayed so they offered us a free round, I can tell! Wine is much more potent than a G&T!
@beryl think we would have been better with fish & chips as we had to wait ages for our meal. A free round of drinks on an empty stomach does not make for steady walking! Company was great though!
So lovely getting regular photos isn't it! They're a great pair! Just makes you smile in passing when you see them sitting on the dresser. And yes they say the funniest things 😀
what a beautiful photo of your grandsons. Our house is full of photos of our two. We are looking forward to seeing our little one from the UK next Sunday and then at Easter our 22 year old from Melbourne will be over with our daughter. So wonderful to have the family all together even if its only for a few days.
@cruiser fantastic Chris! Have a wonderful time together. I know how we all look forward to a good get together. As they are not very frequent I sometimes think it's worth the distance! Does it just give that extra excitement & enjoyment plus usually for a week or two. I know from my B&B experience even if you live in the same country you don't always make time to see loved ones. I reckon I see more of my two in NZ than lots of my guests coming up twice a year for a weekend to see family. Just costs us more!!!
