A very happy 21st birthday to our lovely granddaughter Lydia.
No celebrations much today as she is in the middle of her second year exams even having one today.
I think she will celebrate with her uni friends tonight but wil be home next weekend for a proper 'do'!
Three good things:
1. Rain.
2. I resisted taking a photo of two women in Aldi sitting eating food on the counter in their pyjamas!
I thought they might shout at me!!
3. I met a very interesting young chap in our favourite coffee place. He had lost a leg in the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami. I thought of @quietpurplehaze & thought she would have asked for a photo! He would have said yes too!
Happy birthday to Lydia.. time to celebrate later. Good to get some rain on those maize paddocks.. we have had more flooding here .. those late maize paddocks flooded again..

A very Happy Birthday to Lydia -- such a beautiful young lady Pat - you must be very proud of her -- I am sure the celebrations will come once all the exams will be over !

I have a lady B&B in at the moment, her husband is in hospital so she comes in the kitchen every night for a cup of tea & a bit of TL! Masterchef final too so have been glued to the TV as well. Any way Lydia will be so happy with all your lovely comments & youre right she is a lovely hard working girl & we are all very proud of her as we are of all our brilliant grandchildren.
