A visit to have my eyes tested this morning so here is a quick picture as I walked to the car park.
A cut in half tower but I wanted to concentrate on the street view mostly.
A typical street scene in this rather basic town, no posh shops here!
I actually quite like Blackpool,it's the nearest town to us if you want a decent Marks & Spencer's & you can pop in in your scruffy clothes! Pity there isn't sound as there is a booth on the left playing country music over the tannoy, it rather cheers you up!
Three good things:
1. The community spirit of Londoners after the terrible fire raging all night in a block of flats. Clothes, money phone chargers, beds for the night all offered with love.
2. The emergency services especially the brave men of the fire brigade.
3. My cinema friend is back from Australia so out to see My Cousin Rachel this afternoon. Wasn't bad but I have seen better!
My best friend growing up was originally from Blackpool, but her mother was widowed in the War and she remarried an American pilot and settled in Connecticut. Funny how life works out.
A snapshot as they call it, of life! Blackpool is not all beer and skittles, beach and playground! Good to do this - it is always different to others on 365 whereas it is so familiar to yourself!
This is a great shot - and I love your processing of it! It has that HDR effect that gives so much life to it.
It's a FAV for all the interesting details and action.
Watched BBC TV this morning, dreadful news.
