This is always a lovely road & these woods are full of bluebells in May. As the years have gone by the trees have grown over the road & formed this canopy.
Three good things:
1. A visit with a friend, I took some spare eggs!
2. A chance coming up to see two ex Strictly dancers at the Grand at the end of the month.
3. Waiting for Kirsty & John with all the dogs. My regular followers will know who I mean! Competition time again!
This reminds me of Fitzgerald Glade as you come into Rotorua.. It is a spot that sparks memories from my childhood... On a roadtrip recently I had to stop and get a shot very similar ... Looking forward to seeing some shots of Kirsty and her dogs ..
No walking in these woods with those fences around. Some of our lovely wooded areas have no fences so one can go in the bush but it is rather thicker than these ones. All the dogs will be one year older but maybe she will have some new ones now!
@maggiemae. Low fences here, I often climb over them in the spring. To keep the cattle in as there are fields of a dairy farm just behind this little wood. Kirsty & John eating an Indian in the dining room so haven't seen or discussed dogs yet. I will see them in the morning!
I love these country roads canopied by the trees from either sides -- so cosy yet the glimmerof light in the distance makes one feel they are coming out of a tunnel -- a great pov Pat !
