Loch Morar by happypat

Loch Morar

A lovely walk along the side of Loch Morar this morning. Started off drizzling & damp but by the time we had walked a few miles the sun came out & the day completely different!

I have some brighter photos but for today I rather liked this one!

Our last evening in Mallaig & looking forward to another delicious meal in the Terrace restaurant.

Chatted to a couple of French Canadian ladies in the bar last night, they introduced me to the liqueur called Glayva.
Made in Scotland of whisky, honey, spices, almonds & tangerines...delicious!
Beautiful and very atmospheric . ! Love the tree is silhouette !

The tree shapes are nice and could also imagine this in b&w.

I really like the fog layers on the mountains. They make the trees pop!

Not staying here long but three days is good to explore around you. This is a lovely look down through the hills to the loch! Quite dark and damp looking which is appealing!
