My friend brought me these lovely roses yesterday.
Even more special at this time of the year!
Whenever I've had roses before the heads tend to droop over but touch wood these are still looking very perky!
Praying for @andreajoy whose is in hospital slipping away from us.
Such a well loved 365er who's journey you may have followed.
Three good things:
1. The biscuit tin is full of biscuits again.
2. Still no snow.
3. Fresh orange juice.
Such beautiful bunch of white roses ! and you have captured them beautifully with the backlight glorifying the petals ! So sorry to hear the sad news sending my love and praying for Andrea -- life can be so hard at times !
My thoughts have been with Andrea lately.. she's been one tough lady..
I hope these lovely roses last for you the way some did for me in our winter.
. They went on for weeks...
Beautiful roses Pat, lovely light. When your roses start to droop, cut the stalks at a angle and stick them in boiling water until the air bubbles stop, usually about a minute, then put them in clean cold water. The drooping is normally caused by air locks, hopefully this will help!
Beautiful flowers and I love the backlighting.
sorry to hear Andrea is fading away. I haven't followed her 365 but you have mentioned her on occasion. She sounds like a very brave lady. May her passing be peaceful.
I think something is being added to roses as those I have had lately have lasted a long time.
