A funny mixed up day today. I spent the morning helping Cathy sort her bedroom out lots of stuff stored in there & now it's all clean & tidy. Tomorrow it's two other bedrooms & then sleeping at home for first time since 6th December.
They have been staying with Garth's mum who has been very welcoming & making meals when needed.
This afternoon I've been to a fashion show for charity. A glass of prosecco & cheese & biscuits included.
This is Maree modelling, she is one of our DIL's best friends, they went to Harper Adams Agricultural College together.
Three good things:
1. Sitting by the fire eating crumpets in my pj's.
2. Slightly warmer today!
3. England beat NZ by 4 runs, close call!
Nothing like a good bedroom tidy out! It will be lovely for Cathy and Garth to be back in their very special new space.....we felt so good after having our bathrooms done last summer and 'camping' in the girls' room for almost three months!
A busy day. Cathy and Garth will be really looking forward to their newly renovated home.
