Our daughter Cathy & our lovely son in law Garth on holiday in Japan.
They are six days into a trip to visit their son Jack who's is working in Takasaki with the JET programme.
Loved this photo of the two of them relaxing, they have both had such a busy time over the recent months & they so deserved this break.
Taken today, lovely weather 20-24degrees C
Three good things:
1. Daily contact with photos & little messages from the holiday makers to us left behind.
2. A bulb replaced in the top shower, not as easy as it sounds!
3. Baked potato, salad & salmon for our evening meal, would love to lose two or three pounds for summer! I have got into a bad chocolate habit! Not moving enough either!
A really lovely photo of the two - so nice that they can go away to see their son while he is out in Japan !
Like you I would like to loose some weight by the summer (not just a pound or two !!!! )
@beryl yes Beryl, they had to go while he was out there. They haven't seen him since end of July so it would have been a happy meet up. Our kids do take us to places we might not normally go to. We might go fir a week next year on the way to NZ. Depends on the reports from daughter, might be too full on for us oldies!
That's lovely and so nice they could have a holiday with Jack after all they've been busy with. 😊 You just can't tell where your children will take you these days. 😃😃😃
Sorry a bit late now so a mass answer. Thank you for your comments. FYI the temperature is between 20 & 24 deg C so lovely summery pleasant weather, Cathy said it's just perfect. I can't see me at all in Cathy but it's nice you can. She us actually much more like Harry though she does talk a lot like me! They are loving Japan & its such an interesting country to visit. It's good to that they can see where Jack us spending his time. They are going to stay with him in Takasaki next week so can explore that area. They said it's very busy as just starting blossom time so lots of tourists.
