A long way round for chilblain cream....

Lytham St Anne's the nearest place I could buy chilblain cream.
I had to go & pick the chinos I had bought from M&S so decided it wouldn't be too much of a detour to pop down the road to Lytham & pick up a couple of tubes of cream. Alex & Brian have chilblains in NZ & Boots chilblain cream works!
Well there were road works so had to turn the wrong way out of Blackpool, sounds easy but I got slightly lost going & completely lost coming back from Lytham.
Would have been much easier & cheaper to get them all online!

The contrast between Blackpool & Lytham is rather surprising!

Three good things:
1. Second tube of chilblain cream half price!
2. Free parking in Lytham luckily!
3. Two lots of visitors this morning, it was nice sitting in the sun chatting.

The town has a pretty name. And looks so busy too! Do you have a GPS you can rely on? They are wonderful when you get lost! I stood out barefoot this morning on our brick path to photograph the moon and it was minus 1degree! Don't get chilblains though!

@maggiemae Yes I had a sat nav, should have stopped & set it but as I was only in a radius of fifteen miles from our house I never thought I would chose the wrong way & lose my bearings! It's a way I don't very often go, I dint know why because Lytham is lovely.

@louannwarren @gijsje Lucky you if you don't know about chilblains! Horrid itchy areas on usually toes or fingers but Alex gets them on her cheeks sometimes. Caused by cold restricting blood flow in extremeties. Some people are prone to them , me when I was younger.

Isn't it funny how you can get lost in places you visit regularly. We were leaving a new extended shopping centre while in Maitland on Sunday, came out of a different exit and ended up going the wrong way up the New England Highway. As David says 'We went home the scenic route'
