When Lydia works in this shop & I go in & have a chat I sometimes get tempted by things & so it was yesterday...new shoes in that bag!
Three good things:
1. A visit to the opticians so new glasses....an expensive week!
2. A gorgeous last day of summer!
3. Switch on of Blackpool Illuminations tonight, Alfie Boe is doing the honours!
Nice to start a new season with a new pair of shoes ! And what a nice little shop ! Hasn't it been a beautiful day - I love these sunny late summer's days with out the intense heat of June and July ! So we shall expect a selfie when you have your new glasses !
@beryl Yes I will do a selfie Beryl. Slightly apprehensive as they are a bit different to my last ones....a bit of blue & rounder! I had got to hate my old ones, they were too big for my face & forever on the end of my nose, I had to hold them on whenever I bent down!
@quietpurplehaze Clothes, shies, boots plus jewlery....hard hats upstairs. Lydia loves working there plus she gets a massive discount! Able to study too when it's quiet. Her other job is dipping cheese so slightly different!
@brennieb I shall wear them at the dinner dance Brenda. Yes illumination time, must be autumn! We can see Blackpool tower from our kitchen window seven miles away, it changes colours lots!
@maggiemae Yes head & all which is appropriate as the shop sells pretty much a bit of all except underwear as far as I can see. Aimed for the younger end, lots I would not suit at all but interesting, very quirky shirts with Pom Poms down the front! 😱
I can't believe the lights are being switched on so soon! Amazing. This looks like fun and the bag is just the sort to contain wonderful clothing or shoes. Nice to get something new, eh?
