All behind tonight, had company for supper. Cathy & Garth brought fish & chips round which was a real treat as the Aga has been out all day.
A few months ago a pie leaked juice all over the bottom of the oven. Usually anything spilt carbonises to dry stuff you can brush out but the juice made a real sticky mess.
Taken me all afternoon with oven cleaner to get it off but had to do it today as the guy is coming in the morning to check why it’s not running right.

Three good things:
1. Looking at stuff to do & tips where to go in Edinburgh with C & G who have recently spent time there.
2. So warm for the time of the year!
3. Some lovely foot cream from Cathy, just feel like I’ve had a proper pedicure when I use it!
So you have had a busy day - nothing worse than the sticky mess left in the oven when a pie spills its gooey filling . Nice to have supper delivered though !
Beautiful.....we've had a good year with these too. I think they're part of the hellebore family. I'd bought some early in the year and they seem to like their spaces.
I hate it when something leaks and then bakes on in the oven - soooo much hard work to get it off. Hope your chap can troubleshoot your issue speedily and inexpensively!
