Stained glass windows of City Hall Belfast. by happypat

Stained glass windows of City Hall Belfast.

There are many wonderful stained glass windows in City Hall.
These are just three of them I quickly took on the way out.
From left, Spanish Civil War window, Celtic Myths & Legends window & lastly the Dockers Strike Centenery window.

So beautiful I think especially with the light shining through them.
Apparently they were boarded up during the G8 summit when there are quite a few demonstrations.

Three good things:
1. A quiet day doing nothing & eating little!
2. A chat to sister & brother & the other one on line.
3. I threw all the remains of rich Christmas stuff left over In the fridge. Past it’s sell by date & way past being something I would want to eat!
Aren't they stunning! And nicely placed together in this collage:) I like 'eating little' ... we feel the same. My tummy groans when it sees another mince pie! Turkey finished today ... hurrah!
