I had to laugh at this photo taken at bedtime last night! The time was more like 11.30pm not 9.30 as shown!
Harry reckons he very rarely goes on his phone for social media & bemoans the fact that I seem to always be on my iPad for various reasons.
I was just off to bed & took this sneaky shot.
Sadly our visitors are at this moment probably boarding the plane at Manchester airport for their flight home to Auckland.
Three good things:
1. We have just had such a brilliant Christmas with all the family from near & far.
2. Our visitors left us with a new iron & an Alexa plus. Not Christmas presents just extras!
3. A nice new rug for the kitchen in front of the Aga.
a cosy looking room! HAHAHA funny how they always moan at things they do themselves..hahaha That is a lot of cards you received but a great way to display them!
Love all your Christmas cards. My friends and I have cut back sharply due to increased postage prices and time constraints. It is so pretty to see the different covers displayed in this creative way.

@allie912 I have hesitated about sending cards for the last few christmasses but do love receiving cards myself so continue! I learn so much from these yearly cards, I know people are still around, usually there is a little note written there too so all in all I continue to send & happily others do too. I can quite understand to concern over costs though, it’s the same here!
@sarah19 Yes after a day or so it’s all back to normal..as long as they are happy to go back that’s fine by us! Same with you I would think! Sorry @allie912 I clicked the wrong name when I answered you & put Sallies name up there so an answer for both of you, just muddled up!!
Your kitchen looks inviting Pat! Warm and cosy and all the cards displayed in that way is wonderful! Just look at the men having a sneaky look at their phones when they think you are not looking! Great capture! Happy New Year to you all!
I do know the situation so well.... its a bit like us at lunch... if one picks up his book, then I pick up my puzzle book. Morning time is the only time we are on our computers! Except for me with 365 efforts!
@louannwarren I love them up there Lou Ann, can’t get knocked down or blown over when a door opens, these will be coming down tomorrow! Just string or Christmas tape & a few drawing pins!
