I called on a friend I hadn’t seen for ages today, just a spur of the moment thing while I was round her way.
We used to farm next to their farm & our boys grew up together.
Strangely, she said she was going to see her mum & then call in at our house - this must have been telepathic her husband laughed! Weird coincidence!
Anyway while I was there I took a photo of one of their robot milkers at work
Got back in time for her visit to me & a good catch up.
Three good things:
1. Harry & I went out for our lunch.
2. I bought a couple of different wine glasses....I liked the modern shape with no stem.
3. Feed back from estate agents.
So interesting, but surely the farmer has to attach the apparatus to the cow’s udders?! You can tell I’m no cow farmer. 😊 We love our “O” wine glasses, especially around the house, just easier to handle.
@louannwarren This robotic arm puts the milking machine clusters on the cow. The cow decides it wants milking but it’s only allowed feed if it’s a certain length of time since it was milked last, they cant just go in when they fancy a bite to eat! After that everything is done automatically.
Ha, what a crazy moment! Great minds think alike. I like your milking machine slot. Amazing the techno advances over the decades to help with tasks like this.
Robotic milkers is an amazing system.. can't imagine FG ever converting he likes the personal touch.. You must be telepathic..
Stemless wine glasses are the best.. positive feedback i hope from LA's..
Robots mean less staff - good for the budget but not so good for the worker! More people looking at the house. Sounds like a good land agent to have feedback! Good friends think alike!
Lovely photo for your memory book! Cows were such a huge part of your lives! And how funny about the visit overlap ...great minds!! Glad you didn't miss it altogether.
Interesting view of the milking robot. Hope the feedback from the estate agents was promising.
