You can’t tell here properly but the wind was blowing really strongly this afternoon, all the leaves were turned up.
I had to bring the washing in before we went out....didn't want to come home with all my washing all down the lane!
Three good things:
1. Harry & I have bought a new bed this afternoon. We have one of those pine slatted ones at the moment with a hand made mattress on it. I think the mattress is slightly too big for the space because it’s the very devil to change the bottom sheet. It’s a real effort to lift the corner of the mattress up so it’s had to go!
We are going to put our old one in Alex’s old bedroom for when she comes to stay next month.
2. The bed shop was great fun as they had a machine on a bed that went through all the different levels of firmness, Harry & I laid on the bed in the sun while she showed us the different levels of softness.
3. The sale was on!
The noise would be evident which we can't hear here! Glad you bought a new bed - you will love it so much you will sleep much better. I bought a new mattress and its just great!
@julzmaioro we dithered about getting a new one as were not sure how big our new bedroom will be, could have fitted a king size in perhaps but then our lovely linen sheets wouldn’t fit so we went for a really nice double in the end. @sarah19@s4sayer Thank you & you’re right of course! @maggiemae I do t think we will regret it & my back will feel better in the morning I’m sure! I might even sleep all night!
