We are so pleased to see these partridge return to our garden this year.
They must be nesting somewhere nearby as the male is around more than the female but here they are both sitting on our wall. The male has got quite brave & he sits grooming himself with the squirrels nearby but the female is very jumpy & soon runs off.
Three good things:
1. We were booked to have open house today with a few others in the area...such a good thing we are under offer as the weather has been atrocious....no wet feet tramping in & out...we are very thankful.
2. We have been to Dunhelm Mill for two continental pillows. The linen bed sets we have have square pillow cases & the usual pillows are the wrong size. To make our bed look even better we now have the correct size pillows!
3. We slept well in the new bed! Harry nearly fell out when he put his foot out this morning, he forgot how high it was! No back ache this morning either....only problem up to now is that as it has no bottom end the duvet was all over the place, not on my side either! 😨
Nice to have feathered visitors on tbe garden.. must google patridge to see what they look like. Only seen them in a pear tree on christmas cards.. .. sounds like the bed has the tick..
Yes the bed has the tick...., Cathy saw it today & said it looks like a show house mum!
