Our new bed was delivered this morning.
It looks lots higher than are old slatted base one we’ve been sleeping on for years.
Hope we don’t fall off!
It did see rather silly having a new bed delivered a month before we will be moving out but we have our granddaughter & her fiancé coming to stay for eighteen days mid June.
We could have pinched a bed off the booked in b&bers but I thought it would be nice for Alex to sleep in her old bedroom she left ten years ago plus we have homes for all the beds except one single.
Three good things:
1. More time tonight to comment on 365.
2. I got all the washing dry this morning before the heavy rain we are having again now!
3. I’m reading a book I saw for sale in Booths but bought on my Kindle. It’s called The Lido by Libby Page. I’m really enjoying it...great holiday book Cathy, on our joint Kindle account....best of all it’s a true story!
Looks so regal Pat ! , hope you are in for a very good night's sleep , and you will be as snug as a bug in a rug !! My bed is high with the extra thick mattress and I have since polymyalgia had a step to climb into it ! -Its so comfortable I do not want to change it !!
@beryl@quietpurplehaze We are quite excited to go to bed tonight...I was awake most of the night last night so hopefully I will sleep. It looks quite luxurious I think....love your stool Beryl ...only thing is if you fall out you land on the stool! 😱. Luckily our fitted sheets are deep so they have fitted on really well...so much easier to make the bed too, no end & no lifting the mattress out of the frame to tuck in...it nearly killed me that part...Lydia is having our old bed so she’s young & fit!
Ooh it looks lovely. We had a new mattress delivered just before we came on holiday. It's much higher than before and I do feel a bit like I'm going to fall off! Very comfy though.
Oh heavenly! You have made it so welcoming! I put our new mattress on top of the old one and find it easy to get out of but you need a trampoline to get in!

Looks beautiful. Our 'new' bed is two years old but I love it still! All the things you write here are just like our experience! Hope you have lots of great sleeps.
