Popped into the library again to take two books back & get a couple more.
I’m going into hospital for a couple of days tomorrow, nothing serious but I will be grounded at home for a week or so I think, need plenty of books to keep me occupied.
These nursery kids were singing each child’s name that was present.....Henry, Joshua, Ellie etc etc...clapping hands in time to the very catchy tune. It’s still in my head!
Three good things:
1. The library was so busy today...children, borrowers, the knitting & sewing group plus people on the computers & reading newspapers.
2. Umbrellas...the rain has been chucking it down in sheets today, not many folk out in town.
3. Very entertaining stuff going on in Parliament, not necessary good news but interesting history being made in our life time.
A nice view of your modern library , and the group of children enjoying their group activity in the far end ! Best wishes for tomorrow Pat - I am sure all will go well and you will be back home and ready to nose in onto 256 again within days ! xx
Hope you have chosen well with good books . I use to go eith the Grandkids to Jump Beans and preschoolers exercise program and the use to sing these repetitive songs eould tske ages to get out of my head ..lol..

Shall I mention ‘the wheels on the bus’? Some songs just stick in your head don’t they? Sounds a busy library. Hope you have some good books while you recuperate.
@julzmaioro@dide thank you both....I have six books so plenty of choice. Think I shall be unable to drive for a couple of weeks but that’s OK. Yes dint start me on The Wheels on The Bus....
@beryl Thank you Beryl....I’m sure I shall be fine, I’m not worried although I had to go for another blood test this morning & as I walked through the hospital door I did get a wee jolt of stress! Hopefully back to normal 365 after a couple of days.
You can't help being nervous about something like that - but as I've found, you just front up and do as you are told. Enjoy the rest. It takes a while for the body to recover after anything that requires surgery. With that pouring rain - you will be able to notice that there are no leaks from your roof!
@maggiemae Ha ha funnily enough that’s exactly what I thought as I was driving along the road hardly able to see out of the windscreen. Yes will do as I’m told...no lifting! Thanks Maggie.

Nice capture of the aisles of this library, and the kids looking on. I used to love the library too, although tend not to use it so much these days - kindle has won me over! Good luck with your stay in hospital.
@jamibann I love my kindle too but I was spending so much I have been trying to use the library more! Still waiting to go down for my op at 6.25pm, it’s been a long day! 🙄
@casablanca@carolmw Hello ladies, not recovering as quickly as I hoped! Sure everything going to plan but my word as was in cloud cuckoo land when I thought it was a quick op like last time! Haven’t even read one book since my op, just slept! It’s only the fourth day so not discouraged but will be glad when I’m not as sore. I’m being very well looked after!
