We spent a couple of glorious hours at this thermal spa in Taupo.
Three pools of varying degrees, one so hot you could hardly step into it at first, then a cooler one as you step down ending with the most popular mid temperature one.
Full of minerals all heated by the thermal heat from this amazing country.
The weather was beautifully sunny so I caught the sun a bit again.
Downside was I got stung by a bee!
No kids allowed so calm & peaceful!
Oh, wow - never knew about these hot pools! Surprised no children allowed or perhaps there's another one especially for them. But so good to be peaceful in the warm waters without children jumping on top of you, screaming, being in your way while swimming!
