I had to go to our daughters house today while they had their kitchen island quartz top replaced.
Our lovely granddaughter Lydia had left this lovely message for me & Grandma Ruth.
I was really touched by her kind thought. I met Ruth in Garstang later & told her to call in for her pressie!
Three good things:
1. I was a bit stressed at Cathy’s as I had to find two things & could find neither! The kitchen man found the little broken chip that had to be repaired & I found the other missing item in the bathroom. Relief all round!
2. Gus their cat is looking fat & healthy, next door neighbour is feeding him milk....not pining for his owners then!
3. Jack is not happy because they have closed all schools in Japan. He was disappointed that the pupils he has been teaching for the three years he has been in Japan will be missing the last two weeks at that school....he has got very fond of them all & will miss them.
I thought first it was a pair of slippers and was wondering how you were going to share them ... but now I see it is easter egg and egg cosy ... very cute ..
Very sweet girl....but then very sweet family!!
How disappointing for Jack. The Japanese are so afraid of the impact this virus could have on the Olympics in the summer!
@maggiemae Oh well I think they could be closed but perhaps not if it’s German. Jack is so disappointed he can’t follow his pupils right up until they leave... only two weeks to go....

Thank you all for your lovely comments....you are all right of course she is a treasure!
