Three good things:
1. I was in Tesco this morning at 7am! I had taken my SIL to Blackpool Victoria for her day operation. Picking her up later. Best time to go to Tesco as the only people in there were the online shopper trolleys...there must have been around forty of them in all aisles. I only wanted porridge oats..we like theirs.
2. I feel a fool but today I discovered that the high setting on my new slow cooker was in fact the warming setting! I put it on this morning as I went out the door but by late morning it hardly looked hot...checked the book & wrong setting!
As you can gather I’m not good at reading the instructions! You would think the mark furthest away from the off button & most flames would be the hottest!
3. Books from the library van.
Love the bird houses. Agree about Tesco I'm a 7:00 regular normally. However it's Sainsbury online at the moment! My slow cooker has strange controls but works well once you've got the hang of it!
The settings on your slow cooker do not seem very logical ,Pat . and like you I am not very good with reading instructions Those little bird houses are rather high up aren't they !!
Lovely tree houses. I love the Tudor style one ha ha.
Hope you get to grips with your slow cooker soon. They make instructions so complicated these days
They look so high - too high for the stray cat which is good. Perhaps its a bit late for bird nesting now. Stupid layout for your slow cooker! The biggest flame, the hottest temperature - naturally!
VML the one on the right, with the black stripe reminds me of the b & w boarding of Elizabeth 1’s reign. What a thought, a bird feeder from Elizabethan times!
@busylady I’m glad it was me...I think I will like it lots now I know what I’m doing more! I been to,up,my repertoire now...one pot cooking is the thing in there!
I am glad that you found you had it on the wrong setting. At least now you can give it a proper go.
I am one of those people who always reads the instructions! lol
